Here’s a second poppy study to go with my “Poppy Pair” from earlier in the week. Again, I’m playing around with extremely thick paint, sometimes 1/4 inch thick or more, to create texture. I’ll be showing these 2 poppy paintings and a few others at the Gold Coast Art Fair this weekend. I hope you can stop by and see them!
